MOUNTAIN OPENINGS

 "Mountain Openings" is a gateway artwork to downtown Fort Collins, Colorado, at Riverside and Mulberry streets. It is inspired by sandstone bluffs along the Poudre River, particularly northwest of the city. It relates to our human and technological presence within nature.  2019. Sandstone and stainless steel, seven groupings of spires up to 20 feet high that create an open sculptural area that people can walk through.
