The fountain is made of Colorado rose red granite and stands 20 inches high in a basin 30 x 20 inches. It has split stone surfaces to give it a natural look yet one that is sculpted with chiseled and polished surfaces.It creates a light, splashing sound. While having a traditional bubbler similar to ancient courtyard fountains, its creative aspects are its placement on the gournd in a garden rather than on a pedestal and its split rock finish.

The pump can either be hidden under the cap stone for a simple, small water pool that needs refilling regularly or placed in the ground elsewhere with a larger, hidden reservoir or automatic water feed.
