When three or more people gather on a platform, the sculpture at the top of the pole opens. A plaque riddle gives the operating instructions. The sculpture is designed to encourage meeting people along a path. It is part of the second group of sculptures commissioned by the artist by the Longmont Art in Public Places Program along the St. Vrain River path (six artworks total). |
