Most of the artworks are designed by commission for a specific location, as this is an example. This alcove had been vacant or underused. Rather than fill it completely in an awkward way, the sculpture creates a mass to one side so there is interplay between space and shape. Water flows to the middle down three stones that form a circle. The stones are rounded on the outside. |
