Along a river path, the sculpture shows three enlargements of nearby details of the landscape-a beetle antenna, minute willow flowers, and a genetic protein molecule common to plants, animals and people. Two castings are in bronze, one in stainless steel. They are aligned in a dispersed row. The sculptural bases are made of corten steel and stone masonry reflecting the hybrid of industrial and natural land uses there. 1998. |
