Granite, river. 1994.

This is one of eight sculptures in and around a plaza forming the "Miner's Dream" artwork. It shows a tributary pattern common to anything that flows - water, veins, branches, family trees. It is a fundamental form of nature. It is meant to be a symbol uniting people with the river, evoking both the spirit of the river and subconscious memory. Town of Breckenridge Art in Public Places Program. |
